Siamsiam’s Academic Report

Siamsiam’s report came out today. An A+, a joy to his teachers, His mother, and me. Ma’am Sentei-i says, “He has improved so much.”

Yet his little report Took me back to my own. My Preparatory days, When I had to repeat a class.

But those old reports Never wrote my destiny; Nor will this A+ Write my son’s future.

Grades may mark a moment, But not the journey. Only time and the Divine Being Know what tomorrow holds.
